About Storm Property
Built on sector knowledge. Driven by delivery.
Development · Construction · Advisory
Storm Property is a specialist development, construction and advisory business working across supported living, affordable housing and other forms of specialist accommodation.
We bring together sector knowledge, commercial expertise and practical delivery capability to help investors, housing providers and partners create property that works for its intended purpose.
Who we are
Specialist understanding. Commercial thinking. Practical delivery.
Founded in 2017, Storm has developed expertise at the intersection of housing, care, property investment and construction. We understand that a successful specialist housing development must work for more than its owner: it must also meet the needs of residents, housing providers, operators, commissioners and long-term capital partners.
Our work goes beyond acquiring sites and delivering buildings. We advise institutional investors, investment funds, registered providers and other partners on development opportunities, commercial and ownership structures, operational requirements and delivery strategy.
We also originate and manage developments, coordinate design and planning, and deliver construction through principal contractor capability. This combination of advisory, development and delivery experience helps us consider the commercial and operational implications of decisions from the outset.
Storm is a property business. It is not itself a registered provider or a care provider. We work alongside organisations with those responsibilities, with roles and contractual arrangements determined for each project.
What we do
Three areas of expertise.
Advisory and sector expertise
We support investors, registered providers and partners in assessing opportunities, understanding specialist housing requirements, considering investment and lease structures, and planning viable development strategies.
Development and investment
We identify and structure opportunities, coordinate professional teams and work with funding and delivery partners to bring developments forward.
Design and construction
Our principal contractor capability brings construction delivery into the wider development process, supporting coordination of programme, cost, specification and quality.
Our history
Experience across development and housing provision.
Storm’s experience includes founding Storm Housing Group, which we took through registration with the Regulator of Social Housing as a for-profit registered provider and then ran. That experience has informed our understanding of the requirements of housing providers, institutional investors and the wider specialist accommodation sector.
Storm Housing Group was subsequently sold. The St Philips Group acquired it in May 2025 and Storm continues to run it for them. What that means for a scheme
