Leeds OASIS is a residential short-stay service for people in crisis. Some people are better suited in a homely environment rather than in hospital. The service is set up to feel like an ordinary house and you can stay for up to seven nights or, if you’re a day visitor, you can visit between 10am and 9pm, for up to a week.

If you’re using the service as a guest (staying overnight for up to a week), you will get your own private room with ensuite bathroom. This will include a safe (for storage of personal items and any medication you need).

Leeds OASIS provides an accessible, relaxed, homely and therapeutic feel within its walls. Guests and visitors can relax with the residents and CSW in our social areas –the lounge and conservatory. Our guests/visitors enjoy playing games, taking part in art and crafting activities and supportive chats.

OASIS have a well-equipped, social kitchen that is used to cook meals for the home as and when required. Individuals are responsible for making their own meals although CSW and guests routinely cook meals for the whole house to enjoy. Guests and visitors enjoy impromptu baking sessions throughout their stay.

Within the large gardens we have a heated smoking shelter. We have a lovely garden with comfortable garden furniture positioned in the shade of our fruit trees. We have gardening sessions, where we are growing vegetables and flowers in our raised beds.

OASIS has a private, confidential space that is designed for therapeutic one-to-one session with CSW as well as designated ISS and CRISS workers, called the Nest.
