I’ve been working with Sam for around 5 years now and he is one of the best Specialist Supported Housing developers around. He’s delivered around 15 properties of an exceptionally high standard in Worcestershire so far and I am looking forward to the next three developments we have in the pipeline with Storm.

I have really enjoyed my stay at the crisis house. I would have been more than happy if I had paid to stay here, it's like a luxury hotel!

Storm have been a great and flexible partner to work with. The specification, location and design of the property is exactly suited to the design model for Crisis House. The crisis house will provide short term emotional and practical support for people who are assessed by the Crisis resolution and Intensive support service (CRISS) as needing additional support to avoid admission to hospital. The house will deliver person centered support in a safe, comfortable environment without the often stigmatising effects and restrictions of a hospital admission.

Transforming Care Programme is high on all commissioners agenda’s and rightly so, we know that long stays in hospital have an impact on people’s ability to be independent. The mobilisation of the new service at Park Place Seacroft Leeds, which was purpose built by Storm Property to suit the users’ needs has helped to achieve safe discharges from hospital. Storm Property are building services in the community for people to get the support they need in the city where they live and has provided a safe and positive environment for a number of individuals whom have had long stays in hospital settings. We want to enable people to grow and flourish and Storm Property’s development has enabled these individuals to have this opportunity.

We had a site in Redditch that we were struggling to sell for the amount we wanted. As this point, Storm offered us a Joint Venture to work alongside them to maximise the value. Storm clearly knew how to best maximise the value of the plot, as we ended up receiving far more than the market value and the amount we were trying to sell it for previously. Storm were always available and communicated with us throughout the entire process and I cannot recommend them enough.

We recently completed a joint venture project with Storm Property. Storm were extremely supportive throughout the process, helping us draft and execute legal and construction documents to protect our interest. It was our first time working on a project of this size, working in partnership with Storm made the process easier and I learnt a lot about different aspects of these developments. Storm recognised and arranged the best exit for the site, allowing us to get a price higher than we thought was possible! Storm took ownership of funding of the project, the final sale as well as finding an operator to take on the building once complete. We would be more than happy to work with Storm in the future.

I wanted to make time to thank you very much for your efforts in regard to 10 Salop Road and 73 Marsden Road in Redditch. The original properties, when surveyed, were in a very poor condition but your planning, design and innovation has completely transformed them both. The finished properties are now technically improved to resist the vagaries of the rainwater, rising dampness, etc and are aesthetically fantastic – the use of colour in the rooms, and the quality and finishes of the kitchens and bathrooms is excellent. The production of the specification and short lead-in period before the works started was a definite help to our clients and the completed works being snag free on the Practical Completion date, and therefore available for the incoming tenants to move straight into is fantastic. I am sure that the tenants must be delighted with their new homes, and our clients are very pleased. Thank you very much to yourselves and to your contractors. I have been fortunate enough to work with Sam and Storm developments on four projects over the past 9 months and all sites have been delivered on time and to the desired specification.
