SUPPORTED LIVING

Cheltenham

Cheltenham – Service for up to 6 residents with staff and communal space
Working in partnership with:

  • Gloucestershire County Council.

Cheltenham Supported Living is a service for adults with complex learning difficulties. These contemporary services have secure communal gardens and have been adapted with assistive technology to create the ideal solution to the resident’s needs.

The apartments have all been fitted with a fully interlinked Grade A Fire alarm and warden call system. The system is integrated into a lifeline care assist unit, alerting the carer to the location and device to allow a timely response. Personal pendants and lifeline units have also been installed in each apartment, allowing voice control through to the care providers office as well as an on-site carers handheld device.

Storm Property’s apartments feature whole house technology systems based on assessed residents’ needs. Working closely with the partners listed above, we ensure that the infrastructure of the scheme can support a range of people from the moment they move in and for years into the future. Once a resident’s needs have been assessed, the success of the technology is monitored and adjusted where necessary.
